The staff is skilled and really care for their residents. They have loving hearts. The whole facilities management is right there beside there workers and are always available for family with any questions or concerns. You get a feeling of one big loving family incuding residents and other family members. I feel this place was GOD sent.

They were incredibly helpful to me and our family. When my loved one was first checked in, [name removed] the nurse highly recommend we put her in Hospice. That was a shock to us, but when she fully explained it we agreed. It was absolutely the right thing to do. Her dementia was much worse than we realized. I can't find words to express how well she was taken care of and how well all the staff worked with us during this very difficult time. We found that the staff are all very friendly at this facility. They answered all of our questions. What we liked best about this facility is that it felt like "Home". I'm sure other facilities would also do a good job of taking care of my loved one, but this one did not have an "Institutional" feel. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I would recommend you check the community out for your loved one. Lakeside sits on a beautiful lake. The community has a warm and fuzzy feeling to it. The staff communication with the family could be improved; however, this might be because they are short staffed, like everyone is currently. The maintenance team could have more staff members to the team.

We are very happy with the care that is given at this very clean community. The staff are caring and very helpful to her needs. She is pleased with the meals and the variety. She is very active in the activities. We would recommend this community to other families for the value and care provided

My experience with this community has been a pretty good one. My mother isn't the easiest person to get along with, but they are trying their best to care for her. The staff have been very patient and understanding. They have had a big turn over in some of the key areas in the community. It is a nice and clean community. They have nice outings outside the community and she enjoys them. Overall, I know she is safe and being cared for there. I would recommend this community.

Thank you to All Team Members who are Caretakers at this facility ! Due to the efforts of Angie : my 91 year old mother who has not moved off her farm since 1961/ is now in a "Safe Place". Hard to beat folks who care!

My father has lived at Lakeside Village for five years. He started in an independent living apartment. Over the last two years, he has required increased levels of care and now is in the memory wing. I'm grateful that as he has needed additional care, it has been available without having to move him to a new facility. The staff is very friendly and caring, and the food is excellent. My mom is in the assisted living part so she really doesn't need a lot of care but what they're giving her with giving her her medication and meals is wonderful. She's in a safe place. The activities are good. It's hard to plan things for all different types of people, I think. Having a nurse on staff 24hrs would be good. The food is wonderful. It's just great that my mom has dementia so it will be good for her to be in this facility because we won't have to move her again.
