My mom has been so happy here at The Landing. She loves the staff as well as the residents! I have been particularly impressed with the level of care Mom receives. The responsiveness of staff as well as their open and free-flowing communication has eased my mind. I feel as though the staff care for my mom as if she were their own family. She is treated with respect and dignity. I can’t say enough about how pleased my mom and I are with her living at The Landing.
The Landing offers an elevated lifestyle for members where joyful moments are created every day. One of our newest members recently shared how happy she is to be here, making friends and creating new memories. Additionally, it is a pleasure to serve here and be a part of this dedicated and caring team.
The Landing is a little unique in that it's in a highly urban area with an upscale high-rise feeling to it. Most of the senior living communities I've toured in the northern Virginia area have more of a rural or suburban feeling with a lot of acres but not very much to do in the neighborhoods they're in. It all started with Sharon Lopez--ringing shortly after I made a web inquiry, meeting initially, then follow-on with me and my parents. She is a treasure. Then The Landing itself impressed at every turn: Right off with the spectacular physical spaces. Then the people--staff and the vibrant residents. Such a promising community. Such a gift as we navigate to assisted care living for Mom & Dad.
I don't usually leave reviews but The Landing deserves me to take the time to write. It is difficult to have a loved one with cognitive problems, and it is difficult for the person to feel safe and comfortable. At The Landing my loved one found peace and tranquility. She has an appointment with the hairdresser every week, she eats well, the nurses and technicians always take care of my family member.
