I have some serious concerns about the professionalism & neutrality/demeanor of one of the clinicians involved with this program. Betrayal trauma from years of addiction, lying, repeated discoveries, and trickle truth can seriously affect a partner, let alone anyone they’re close to. We are grateful to have a resource like the Meadows Outpatient Center in the Chicagoland area! Their Love, Sexuality, and Trauma track is a unique and special offering that really “sees” clients who are struggling in their intimate relationships. We appreciate the Meadows staff and their commitment to thinking creatively about supporting clients and their families, every step of the way.

Make sure you do your due diligence in researching neurofeedback; when I was there, they caused more harm than good. **EDIT: it was due to inexperienced techs, not neurofeedback therapy as a whole.

I’ve referred a number of patients here and the work that Meadows does is holistic, life changing and followed by great coordination of discharge services. Absolutely recommend this institution as a place where individuals go to grow during life’s hardest transitions.
