I attended The Meadows for about 3 months back in the early Spring. It was a great experience! They have thoughtful staff members that genuinely care. They provided an environment that allowed me to focus on healing and moving forward with my life. Some places have nonsense rules or staff that act like they're working at a detention center. This is not the case at The Meadows! They truly are the best in the area from what I've heard from my peers in recovery. Special thanks to Jeanette, Sharon, and Nicole. You guys rock!

Do not consider the Meadows for a loved one needing support and help with mental illness. After my loved one attended their PHP program and had some positive interactions with specific staff they suggested she needed "a higher level of care" and recommended their inpatient program. The AZ Meadows program decided to reject her disregarding her experience in their out patient program and consultation with her therapist. They left her on her own and wouldn't consider her until she had "self soothing dbt skills". She has gon... read more

I went to the Meadows IOP program in mid-2024 for mental health challenges (complex PTSD and insecure attachment). I had a very positive experience and found the integrated approach extremely valuable (education, group discussion, yoga, Qi Gong, acupuncture, yoga, art therapy, individual therapy, access to a psychiatric nurse practitioner). The lead therapist was wonderful and staff was super kind. Only reason for 4 vs 5 stars was that most of the time was on group 'check-ins' which often took up most of the session + people... read more

Going here was was one of the worst decisions I have ever made, drunk or sober. Send yourself or your loved one anywhere else. I had the displeasure of going to both the Arizona main campus and here, pressured by AZ staff into continuing "treatment" in Denver. The entire Meadows organization is an unethical money-making scheme. Laughable therapeutic modalities are deployed by their passive-aggressive staff. There is a cult-like fixation on their boss, Pia Melody, the multi-millionaire that owns this for-profit corporation.... read more
