During my interview, One staff recognize my attributes to their company, and considered me valued toward applying for team lead...we were both excited for me. After experiencing a domestic situation were my phone and keys were taken leaving me stranded I was unable to reach anyone by phone. Using my iPad I was able to reach out to coworker to make contact with my supervisor. Unfortunately, my absences was still reported as no call no shows. The company decided to have no heart or empathy in such horrific situation. I hope for future reference that the company find more understanding and compassionate people. Working at the medical team they don’t care about anyone’s health. I used to have to work on almost all of my off days and when I caught RSV and was even told by the hospital that I couldn’t go into work they still fired me and then had the nerve to say if I want my job to show proof of my hospital papers when I sent all of them in.
I wish I could I could rate each aide from the Medical Team Livonia separately because there are some that are truly compassionate and caring of your love one. Others are there just for there for the job and have no personality or compassion at all. Things have improved some since my concerns have been voiced. It seems the director in corporate has no interest in hearing complaints or concerns because twice I have called and left messages…no one has ever returned my calls.
