From the front desk, medical assistant to the providers the customer service is amazing! Always professional and friendly! Lindsey NP is great and my injections with her are fast, efficient and painless! Dr. Marek is so wonderful and really listens and cares about my medical care! I would definitely recommend The Neuron Clinic! Especially the one in El Cajon!
I came in as a new patient establishing care for an existing condition after moving to the area. The support staff was okay, but it was clear the neurologist had done zero preparation for the appointment (my primary physician had forwarded my entire case history with the referral). Promptly moved into room awaiting the NP. Gteeted by staff upon arrival. Visit with NP was efficient, she took time to answer questions, adjusted medication and made suggestions in getting as strong as possible before my October 26 DBS surgery. She was excellent.
to put it bluntly, this place needs help if it wants to catch up with its sister locations’ quality of care. The doctor should be the only person performing nerve studies, as the tech is so unaware of what he’s doing it’s actually concerning. And yeah, I’ll be honest. This EMG was traumatizing. I had a very disappointing experience with the front-desk staff at this neurology clinic. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. Communication was poor, and I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. The way patients are treated at the front desk can make a big difference, especially when people are already dealing with health concerns.
