If I had not taken my son to Dr Feldman, he would have been crippled the rest of his life. After seeing him and having surgery with him, my son now has a chance at sitting up and walking. He is 3 yrs old and has arthrogryposis, a rare condition. We are forever grateful for his expertise, knowledge, and brilliance.
Dr. Feldman is very knowledgeable. He does an excellent job of explaining what he is thinking, options, etc. He listened to my 13 year old daughter, answered her questions and made her feel comfortable. Everyone at the Paley Inst has been wonderful. I cannot say enough about how much everyone has done to ensure we saw the correct dr, got our questions answered and made us feel comfortable when facing surgery for our daughter.
Dr Feldman changed our lives! After months without a diagnosis, he diagnosed our daughter within minutes of an exam and ultimately gave her back the quality of life she had been missing for so long. His expertise, care, and sensitivity gave us confidence that we were in the right hands. His and his staffs’ responsiveness are beyond what we’ve ever experienced.
I had a right PAO surgery with Dr Feldman in November 2014. I have never felt better a little over a year later. It wasn't until about 9 months that I did feel myself again with strength and ability but I wouldn't trade how I feel now for anything. I would recommend him and his NY staff to anyone needing anything hip related in the future.
Dr. Feldman couldn't be bothered to actually engage with our teen daughter or myself to address our concerns and possible ways to move forward to correct or lessen the pain. He asked our daughter to touch her toes, then got up from his chair and left. Complete lack of empathy or care. The staff at the desk were just as dismissive and nasty. Horrible experience!!
We just found out so much more could have been done for our son. Dr became so busy with patients that sacrificed individual care. The more severe the issues for kids got all the attention. Now my son is back to square one.
After our 2yr struggle, our daughter was finally diagnosed with Perthes (LCP). The first Dr said she was fine. The second Dr said “I think I can hel her”. Then we found Dr Feldman. He walked in, sat down, and start talking to our daughter. Not us. He ask our daughter if she understood, then looked to us to see we understood. He told our daughter that he knew what was happening and he could help her. I don’t know where’d we be had we not found him and his team.
