I am glad that my dentist referred me to Dr. Jeffrey Doneskey for my facial pain. I was using a mouth guard, but the TMD still developed since I clenched while asleep. At Dr. Doneskey’s clinic, I have a customized mouth device maintaining muscles in a relaxed position throughout the night while I sleep. During waking hours, I am pain-free. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and agreed to trial a CPAP for a little over 3 months. It was awful and made my sleep even worse than it was already. My doctor recommended an oral appliance and provided a list of potential offices I could be referred to. After years of suffering from TMJ related issues I am so lucky to have come across Dr. Doneskey's clinic online during a google search. Dr. Doneskey made it easy to diagnose my issue that was due to grinding my teeth during sleep. After making an appliance to wear during the night I now feel much better!
