Had a phenomenal meal last night. Pristine oysters, tender and tasty calamari, brocollini as tender as can be, grilled yellow zucchini, crispy artichokes, skinny fries, Peruvian chicken, tomato tartar . . . all world-class in taste, ingredients, presentation, and portions. the desert was beyond amazing. Of course our bartender, Charles, was stellar!
My fiancée and I had an absolutely wonderful date night here this past Saturday, and the entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The salmon was perfectly cooked and beautifully prepared, paired with delicious mashed potatoes and fresh, delicious bread. Chicken with gnocchi and beans had an unbelievably delicious flavor. Wedge salad, fresh crispy and the Gorgonzola dressing had just the right amount of cheese and tangyness. The shoestring fries perfectly crispy and the selection of dips for were delicious. The Chihuly sculpture is a sight to be seen.
Having spent much of my career managing high-volume, high-end restaurants, I probably pay more attention than the average guest to what’s happening behind the bar and on the floor. Vermilion impressed me. I only stopped in for drinks, but the spirits program immediately stood out. The selection is deep, thoughtful, and clearly put together by people who know what they’re doing.
