I live in Liverpool which is almost exactly the same distance from del Lago and TS casinos. My wife and I love going to del Lago. Everything about del Lago is 5 star as far as we're concerned. All the staff that we've come in contact with were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The heating and AC always keeps the room as warm or cool as we'd like. Only once we had a lighting issue and someone from maintenance came and fixed it promptly. Room was modern but still lacking. The furniture had scratches. Check in was very fast but no real interaction. Not rude but not friendly. The room was clean and seams quiet. The slots took our money pretty quickly so not really planning to play anymore. The steak house was mediocre at best. Service was great however food was only average.

My first time staying at a casino hotel and the surprise was how calm everything feels. The usual 'desperate' aura that seems to fill other casinos definitely wasn't felt here. Everyone seemed to just be having fun. The staff have all been friendly and our room on the top floor gave luxurious vibes. I look forward to coming back again someday soon!

Didn't stay here but loved the casino. I've had numerous people tell me nothing but good things about this place. We went late so the buffet wasn't open. But the food we did have was great. Prices are okay. I liked that they have a smoking area that inside but outside at the same time. No roof in smoking area. But they have a nice place to just sit and smoke with a fireplace so I didn't freeze. Will go back soon.

Saw a concert, which was great, and we liked the venue. We waited in line with a bunch of other customers, but never got acknowledged at the smaller restaurant, so we left. The room was mediocre and NOT worth the price we paid (almost $500). The fire alarm went off just as we were trying to go to bed and there was no guidance from staff. No breakfast options, so we went elsewhere. This was the second time we came here for a show and we had the same negative restaurant experience with the restaurant the first time as well.
