We had a great experience with Thomas V Giel garage doors. Our job was complicated, as we were replacing two separate doors with one larger one. Mike Polena from Giel arranged for a contractor to remove the old pillar and install a new beam and framing, and coordinated the job so that everything went smoothly. Our garage was only out of commission for two days and no nights. Thomas V. Giel Garage Door Company did an outstanding job on installing our new garage door. The two installers were amazing. Alex & Hunter worked continuously for over 3 hours. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. It was a super 5 star job.

Had a broken spring on my garage door and John came out to fix it. He was professional, efficient, and did a great job getting everything working again. The repair was completed quickly and the door operates smoothly now. Very satisfied with the service and would definitely use them again!

The day of installation was supposed to be in the 50’s but as Pittsburgh weather goes that was early morning temperatures and it quickly deteriorated into a very cold and windy day. It was freezing out! I’m not sure how the team managed but they spent 6 hours working on installing my garage door. Remarkable! They also cleaned up afterwards. The door works beautifully.
