Visits to see my father-in-law, Jesse James, are always a peaceful experience here. Thornton Cemetery is a truly beautiful and well maintained resting place. The grounds are serene, especially on a sunny day, with quiet pathways and lovely landscaping that makes it a tranquil environment for reflection. It is a very respectful and comforting place to visit loved ones.
My Father is buried at Thornton cemetery. It was a beautiful place to visit. She had hand painted a beautiful iron wind chime, and had one single solar light and an angel placed underneath his bench. It was so beautiful and a very special spot for her and us kids to visit. Went there recently to find all her special tributes gone. They took them away and put them in a bag. This cemetery is beautiful, peaceful, and always well-maintained. It is clear that great care is taken to keep the grounds clean and serene. When my mother passed away unexpectedly in January 2022, the staff were very compassionate and guided us with kindness through such a difficult time. I will always be grateful for their support.
I can not say enough about all the wonderfully compassionate people working here, especially Cathy. She has honestly been amazing helping me get my Dads monument finally delivered. She’s a Godsend for sure.
