Very corporate-y if you know what i mean. when calling, you feel like you’re calling some sort of customer service office. not personal at all. you will be on hold for AT least 5-7 minutes. i’m assuming this is some sort of chain style, multiple location, superficial company. just definitely wasn’t my vibe off the bat. i’m sure they have wonderful therapists on their staff. the corporate company look simply isn’t appealing, especially when therapy is something extremely personal. but if that’s your cup of tea, drink it!
Thriveworks is a great service that I found whilst looking for a therapist/counselor. I chose Mycael Park to talk to & she has been superb!! I would definitely 100% recommend her. She is a very sweet lady, has an easy welcoming disposition & has been super supportive on my journey to mental wellness.
Rosemary Taylor had been working with my son, but the day before their third appointment, she canceled and referred him to someone else. Her reasoning was understandable (they were meeting virtually, and that wasn't the best fit); however, the way she went about cancelling the appointment the day before and did not consult me, as his parent, prior to unilaterally making that decision, was what concerns me about her professionalism. She may very well be a good therapist, but that's only part of the equation.
I can't give this location a rating necessarily because I was never able to find the actual office space. If you are going to this location, you should definitely inquire on specific directions to the office space prior to your appointment within the Woodlands because it's quite complicated to locate. I will be rescheduling.
Absolutely horrid. Nobody was at the office when I showed up, it took 30 minutes for them to tell me they were ignoring my knocking because I missed a consent form online? It’s a joke if you actually need help DO NOT GO HERE
