Be wary of these people. I tried to make an appointment. I have 2 forms of insurance. He didn’t want my insurance information. He wanted my card information. He told me this up front. Within the first couple of sentences. I asked him why. He said in case you miss an appointment. I said I have never been asked this before. Then when he was trying to make an appointment I gave him information about my insurance. He said he couldn’t take my insurance right now. That would be another time. I either had to call, give my insurance information or provide information about my coverage, about a dozen times, JUST to set up my first appointment, which was cancelled, not by me, without explanation. I can only imagine how much of a disaster billing would have been for me, so I will not use any provider within the Thriveworks Network.
It was very helpful...Hudson is a great counselor or whatever the title is. He helps me go deeper 2 try 2 understand why I have the feelings that I have...
BEWARE! If you cancel an appointment within 48 hrs., you still pay $135 even if they don't answer your call! On top of that, we requested all future appointments be canceled, but they only did the next week's meeting. They ignored the actual request, probably figuring we'd not follow up and miss more appointments. Thank goodness I keep tabs on bank accounts and appointments! We had a great first session with our clinician. We are disappointed with the fact that Thriveworks allowed us to book with her without confirming where she had her license, she informed us that she was unable to continue after the first session.. which is no fault of hers! Otherwise, we felt safe and comfortable being ourselves and opening up to our clinician.
