Drove an hour to thriveworks to work with Christopher and was shutdown after 15 mins saying we can't help you. I came in for stress and depression due to alcohol abuse and as soon as alcohol is brought into an issue they say they can't help me when on his profile he is a proclaimed therapist that deals with issues on alcohol and has worked cases like mine for the community centers around the blacksburg area. Horrible. "What are your three greatest abilities" ..."Inhale in thru one nostril and exhale thru the other" This is the kind of non sequitur nonsense I was asked/told like a low rate job interview at best. My first (and only) session had NOT THING ONE to do with what I signed up for counseling for. I would give no stars if I could.
My husband and I have been together 25 years. With our ups and downs but didn't know what to do after not ever being on the same page. If you're BOTH are willing to learn and listen it really works. Thank you Michael, for helping us find the tools we need to have a much better marriage. That we couldn't seem to find ourselves. Getting better every day!! Much appreciated Thriveworks!!!!
