Had my first session. Went okay. Then I get charged 135.00 for a "no show" fee for an appointment I knew nothing about. I did not set an appointment for 12/23. I jad surgery on 12/19. I would not have set an appointment while still healing. Rip off. Way to "Thrive" by stealing from people.
This was my first session. The counselor was engaging and very empathetic. She explained all the HIIPA laws and my rights as a client. It's hard fir me score someone just after the first session. However, given her approach at being attentive meeting where I am on my issues with no judgements was a plus.
Why am I being charged for an appointment I NEVER scheduled? I have not used their services for YEARS. My last appointment was when I still lived in Delaware about 3 years ago. I had an inactive account, but I was scheduled with a therapist I had NEVER HEARD OF. $135 for a missed appointment is a Red Flag. I tried to get in contact with support, and after informing them of the issue, they gave me the paragraph of policies about missing an appointment! This place is a " rip off"! Whilst they are supposed to be there to help you they take unauthorized money from your bank account causing further stress and anxiety. Do not use them
