I’ve been coming to this provider for approximately eight months. While I love my therapist, their policy regarding rescheduling is horrible. I called today to see if I could simply adjust my time for today. I was calling for information purposes only. A work event came up during my meeting, which would cause me to miss a portion of my meeting. I was then threatened up and down with a $135 rescheduling fee. This was the worst psychiatry appointment I ever had in 20 years of engaging with the system. They only employ nurse practicioners, and they are just not trained well enough to handle these issues. Sandra Ezeukwu insisted on treatment resistant diagnosis at my first intake. She refused to write a script for Genesight and insisted she would only put me on heavy antipsychotics and mood stabilizers. Just wanna give everyone a heads up in case you want to take a break please be very specific when you say you want to take a break and return when you’re ready. Apparently, you have to say you want to cancel all of your appointments otherwise they will only cancel one and try to pressure you to going to the other ones. Thriveworks has made a real difference. Therapy can be a rough process. We have suffered that twice from other companies, Thriveworks does this *right* . We have been supported through this whole process, like I had real help setting everything up - even when it got tough. Thank you so much
Deidre is very easy to talk to.She makes you feel you are having a conversation with your best friend. She is caring.She knows how to get you to talk about what's bothering you even if you don't want to talk. I would Highly recommend her if you need to talk to someone. She will get you laughing and crying all at once.
