Their automated phone system is messed up. As a potential new client, I had to press "5" for billing to talk with a human. Other options hung up on me or sent me back to an infinite loop. They do not offer free initial consults and force new clients to pay for intake sessions with a therapist that the new client might not be comfortable with. They might have great therapists, but they lost my business due to this bad first experience. I wonder how many other potential clients they are losing.
I had my second online therapy meeting today. My Therapist, Amanda Comer is Incredible. We came up with so many underlying beliefs that I have formed since I was a kid. Beliefs and deep seated emotions that have been stored in my body for 68 years that are not serving me! We will be starting with EMDR Therapy next week. My session with Ms. Clarke was very informative as well as helpful. She really allowed me to express myself while realizing at the same time having that desire to continue to improve my life. I truly enjoyed my first session with Ms. Clarke and I'm looking forward to future sessions.
I would like to see the post where I rated this institution 5 stars, please???? Because someone must be using my name. The only way I would have rated anything about this institution is if I was talking about the counselor Shannon Gutschick, she is a wonderful counselor and human being. Otherwise, the institutional policies are horrible and inconsiderate and not realistic and do not fit into real life, emergency events. While my therapist is excellent, Thriveworks is a heartless company that has zero regard for their clients Healthcare. I had to reschedule an appointment last minute because, get this, I was at a doctor's appointment that ran over an hour late. So Thriveworks in their opinion says I should have left my doctor's office in the middle of my appointment because they want to "protect their providers".... over two months worth of copay for a fee based on not leaving AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE.
