Worked with a therapist for serval months and was shown that any feelings more complex than basic sadness is too much to handle. I was shown inability to understand why things that work for other people didn’t work for me as if everyone is the same. It took serval months to be be taken seriously enough to be considered for medication and I was then dropped by the therapist 25 minutes into our next appointment. uh i am mentally ill person that has been working with mental healthcare professionals since i was in puberty. this place absolutely sucks and reeks of nothing but money grabbing. please find a local practice and dont waste your time.
I have had such a great experience so far from scheduling the appointment to meeting with my therapist, Stephanie! I was able to make an appointment at 6pm on a Friday when most places are closed. They got me in two days later and I love my therapist! She is professional, kind, and really put me at ease to open up about difficult situations.
Called to reschedule within their time frame and was told Id be charged a fee. They refused to reschedule. I paid that fee and even showed proof of payment and they still wanted me to pay again before being allowed to schedule a new appointment. In addition to that, I have yet to speak to a single native English speaker I could easily understand. Why?
Thriveworks was suggested by a partner company out of Seattle after our family had a traumatic experience. I do not recommend them because they are unprofessional and unhelpful. One counselor was late to the appointment and then could not separate her personal life from her work life. The other counselor I tried never showed up for the appointment. Supposedly her power went out. I guess that meant cell towers were down, too. Had I not showed up for the appointment, they would have charged me $120.
