I used two professionals with Thriveworks. One was a psychologist named Anna-Maria Mazy and the other was a Nurse Practitioner named Mechele Combes. Anna-Maria was awesome and seemed like a really level headed and competent therapist in our first visit. Unfortunately, Mechele Combes was not. She was supposed to be an addictions specialist and my aim was to have her help me sort out my medication needs. I’ve been with my therapist Kelly for over a year now with transitioning from her graduating to then moving to thriveworks. I was unaware that I could follow my therapist and I was so sad because I found a therapist I genuinely liked. I’ve been in therapy pretty much the entirety of my life and never really felt like one worked or I was heard or I could be myself. I've only had one session but I did feel very comfortable with who I was paired with. We have a lot more in common than I would have ever thought. And jumping back and forth from different therapists that I have not clicked with, it definitely takes a lot of worries and anxiety away so I would recommend this to everybody and anybody who is not feeling the way they should be
I look forward to my weekly sessions with Jennifer. She is positive, understanding, and supportive each time we meet via zoom. She has been such a vital part of my journey down this new path I travel, and I love how we can pick up right where we left off from the session before.
