Their service is valuable, the machine washes clean and shiny. But compared to ModWash, their rate is higher and does not offer any service discounts, however, they give a better clean tire and rim wash than ModWash. The staff are receptive and helpful, and the location is convenient, its location within Sumter business hub makes then more easily accessible.
I have a membership in NC with Tidal Wave and by comparison this Tidal Wave rates below it. Prep wash was minimal, bugs remained on front grill of car. Shortage of drying towels. Having the spray bottles tethered to the pole is ridiculous. One of the vacuums had very little suction. Exit from the car wash drying area was two way. Causing confusion and a bottle neck of vehicles. Best part of is the staff was friendly and courteous.
Tidal Wave in Sumter never disappoints! The service is spot on and the employees are always welcoming and pleasant to interact with. Mason is amazing! There’s never been a time I’ve gone for a wash and he hasn’t had a big smile and a good laugh to share. Definitely no other car wash center I’d go to.
We frequent this location on a regular basis because we find it to be a convenient option with a great value. The experience is 10x better when Naughtia works as she is energetic and always goes the extra mile to make our children smile and laugh when we enter the car wash. In addition, Chris and the other staff are always helpful and courteous.
I was visiting from out of town and looking for a place to wash my car when I found Tidal Wave. There was an employee there that showed amazing customer service and paid attention to every detail. His name is Mason and he did an excellent job. I know whenever I am back in town visiting family I will be returning to Tidal Wave because of the experience Mason provided. Great young man and extremely happy with the service he provided. Great job!!!
