Had driven to Des Moines and back and had a TON of bugs on my grill of my vehicle. Pulled in and Devon took several extra minutes scrubbing my grill before sending me thru the car wash. So impressive! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!!!! Highly recommended if you want exceptional service!!
Was very impressed with the wash itself and the customer service! I live on gravel roads and my vehicle was pretty caked with mud and sand from recent rain. The initial wash did a really great job cleaning the vehicle, better than most others. They even spent a great deal of time scrubbing and rinsing prior to the wash. While vacuuming out my vehicle an employee came by and expressed they didn’t feel the wash was up to their standard, leaving some mud on the front and back ends (very typical when I go through any car wash). ... read more
Honestly, this place has gone way downhill. Tidal Wave Auto Spa used to be decent, but now it’s just a mess. The problem isn’t really the workers, they’re doing what they can, it’s the manager on site. Whoever is running this location clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing. The whole place feels disorganized, understaffed, and nobody seems to be checking to make sure the job actually gets done right. You pay for a wash and half the time your car still comes out dirty. I went to Tidal Wave Car Wash for the first time because I wanted to vacuum out my car. I obviously was willing to pay a few dollars because my car hadn’t been vacuumed for over a month. When I didn’t see any places to pay for it I asked the two workers there how much do they charge for vacuuming the car but not a car wash, they said “You can vacuum your car without a car wash for free.” I was pretty shocked that anything could be free these days and I appreciated it. Car wash itself was fine. But the vacuums didn't work well and the towels STINK! The towels clearly haven't been washed properly and smell super musty. Didn't realize it until I was already wiping down things so I now have streaks everywhere and my car smells musty. I'm sure there is a legal requirement for the attendant to say certain things about putting your car in neutral, hands of the wheel, etc. But I couldn't hear him with my windows rolled up (about to enter the wash so I didn't want to roll them down).
