I went to this car wash on 4/23 with a spotless windshield and a roof rack. I left the car wash with a smashed windshield and a broken roof rack that was ripped off of my car by the car wash. The site leader Robert admitted fault and took my information. I was told by him that he did not lift the control arm high enough to pass over my car. I have yet to hear anything from the site leader. The business card he gave me sends me directly to voicemail each time.
This car wash was great! I was skeptical about this place after having had sub par experiences at other car washes, but this is the cleanest it’s ever been after a car wash. I can’t attest to the wheels, because I did those myself, but the body looks great! Staff was also friendly and helpful. There was a decent amount of gunk on my car after having gone to Big Sky and back twice, so I’m happy with this.
Hopefully someone finds this helpful! The staff who work here are wonderful and friendly, absolutely no shade towards them. I am leaving a low rating simply for the effectiveness of the car wash equipment. I have given tidal wave three tries since they opened. They can never seem to get a good wash on my SUV. The front end and doors come out good, but there is always so much leftover dirt/grime/mud on the rear hatch of the SUV, and below the windows. Excessive grime in the wheel wells too. DON’T COME HERE IF YOUR CAR IS DIRTY!!! They kicked me out of their car wash today after paying and waiting in line. This is MONTANA! Some of us live in the country. There weren’t even rocks on my car - just a bit of dried mud. I’m sure they will give their copy/paste response about excess mud damaging their equipment, blah blah. This is a car wash in Montana. Go take your business to a big city if you want to only wash city cars.
Seems like the quality has gone down recently. Previously their wash was pretty good and didn’t leave too many water spots, and the x4 wash did actually seem to help the amount of water on windows and the paint. But last few washes have been pretty bad and not leaving a great coating. Scrubbys in town is a great alternative.
