Prewash was one side of my windshield and back glass. Bumper still covered with bugs and only one side got splotchy tire shine. Undercarriage wasn’t touched. 30$ wasted only to go home and wash my truck myself.
I initially had some frustration when I arrived at Tidal Wave Car Wash at 7:45 p.m. and found it closed, despite Google listing their hours until 8:00 p.m. However, after speaking with the assistant manager, Jared, I gained a better understanding of the situation. He was professional, courteous, and took the time to explain the reasoning behind the early closure. I truly appreciate his customer service and willingness to listen. I respect their dedication to maintaining a well-business!
Tidal Wave was giving away free car washes, and I decided to take advantage. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly. The car wash it self, like most drive-through car washes, was not perfect, but it was the best I’ve ever had. They offered free cleaning supplies. (Towels, Widow/surface cleaner). I actually was there about two hours detailing my car inside and out. They were very accommodating and said that they would never rush me if I were to buy a membership. Always good service and the only car wash in the area with a decent drying blowers. Others never dry and leave streaks. Can improve having vacuums on both sides. That way you don't have to drag dirty hose over the seats to clean opposite.
I love this place and have been a member from Marietta, Ga to Athens, Al(current city). My only gripe is the place always having to close sporadically due to maintenance or staffing like this morning I get here at 8:30, have a full day so I need the quick convenience of the wash, and staffing is short so they still haven’t opened the wash at 8:30 a.m. Thanks for all you do and when you are open you are fantastic but it really puts a wrench in a busy customer’s day when these things happen.
