I’ve been a loyal customer of this car wash for over a year and a half and recently renewed my membership on a month-to-month plan. When I arrived for my wash, the scanner wouldn’t recognize my membership, and the gate wouldn’t open. A gentleman who said he was the manager checked the system and came back claiming my membership had already been used that day. If you're looking for a place to get a car wash then Tidal Wave Auto Spa & Car Wash is the place to go. We live in North Metro Atlanta and have several of these around our house so we signed up with a monthly subscription. Well worth the investment. What's nice for us is coming to Hampstead and being able to pull through this car wash at no additional charge because of our subscription. Just had the opportunity to use this group…. Poor guy in the gate was brand new…. Charged me, but wouldn’t/couldn’t get the gate up. Called over a co-worker…. She couldn’t /wouldn’t get the gate up…. Had to “call a manager”. I’m now at the gate for a good 10 minutes and feeling like I’m trying to buy a used car…. He opens the gate…. Empower your people to do their job, and do not be a bottle neck…. Think outside your box! The customer service was not good, or even close to good. Management needs to be replaced.
The third time I used the service, someone's antenna was lodge in the equipment before i went in. Once i was in I heard a loud noise . I went to dry off my vehicle an there were scratches from the top of the hood and also discovered a busted windshield. My vehicle only had 3k miles. I understand things happen as with any machine service but what I am most disappointed in is the lack of urgency and misinformation that was given to me to follow up on how the damage would be handled.
