Went through today, and the wash was fine. The microfiber towels afterward both felt and smelled like they had been washed with fabric softener and left streaking on my vehicle everywhere that I used them.
I come to Tidal Wave often, but the service I received from Jacob Jones today absolutely deserves recognition. This young man went above and beyond the call of duty! His attention to detail, positive attitude, and genuine effort stood out in a major way. To be honest, there are days when some of the other workers seem like they’re just going through the motions—as if they’re doing charity work. But Jacob was different. Pretty solid car wash spot. They have what you need, no touch exterior cleaning and you can stop to use the vacuums for no additional cost once you go through. I come by about once every 2 months. It's almost worth it to get the membership for me, but not quite.
The car wash is pretty good compared to their competition. My only complaint is the vacuum area is small and the cancellation process was a bit of a hassle. I went online to cancel my membership two weeks before it was due to come out and I was still charged. I had to go to the location and have someone there cancel it. Buy your guys some pizza or something, they looked miserable every time I went there.
They lied about how much the membership was, so I thought I was paying one price when the last few months I’ve been paying double that amount. I made complaints to customer service but nothing was done, they just said “sorry” but what about employee misinformation or possible misconduct to get me to sign up for the membership. Not okay. I was told verbatim “if you’re buying this wash, why not purchase the membership for the same price? “(The wash was $12) I was not told anything more… they didn’t ask if I wanted my receipt ... read more
