My father’s new car was damaged due to the carelessness of this car wash. The car behind us wasn’t properly on the tracks and it lead to the car behind to hit him. What makes it worse is we never were contacted after, we found out through my brother’s review that they won’t take the responsibility. It’s extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. This is the worst car wash I’ve tried in town. I went through once after paying for a mid level wash. When I got to the self serve area the vacuums didn’t have enough power to pick up the lightest of dirt inside. I then realized that one whole quarter panel as well as the entire back of my car was dirty and dry like it wasn’t touched. They offered to send me through again and it did slightly better but there was still light dust that literally wiped away with my finger without pressure. I have visited this location 3 times in recent months as a club member and had a bad experience each time. The 1st time they were evidently not operating the car wash but had no signage up to indicate this and they were turning away customers at the entrance. The 2nd time they proceeded to stop the car wash and repeatedly knock on my car very loudly and assertively pointing down in an attempt to ask me to roll down my car window. I visited Tidal Wave in Charlottesville, Virginia today to have my car cleaned, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When the wash was finished, my car was still covered in spots from front to back—on the sides, hood, and rear. Honestly, I could have spit on the car and ended up with a cleaner result. I approached the manager on duty and showed him the spots all over the vehicle, but he refused to run it back through the wash. First time and last time at this place! Young girl in the lane was extremely rude-1st red flag! I signed up for the Graph-4x monthly package...what a disappointment! There were chemicals/cleaners all over my car when it was complete. I guess the "Dry n' Shine" wasn't working because there were wet spots/stains all over my Jeep, plus the chemical residues. I had to take it to the Clean Machine (where I should have went in the first place) to get it cleaned again. I will be requesting a refund for this mess. Your response is... read more
