I visited Tidal Wave in Charlottesville, Virginia today to have my car cleaned, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When the wash was finished, my car was still covered in spots from front to back—on the sides, hood, and rear. Honestly, I could have spit on the car and ended up with a cleaner result. My father’s new car was damaged due to the carelessness of this car wash. The car behind us wasn’t properly on the tracks and it lead to the car behind to hit him. What makes it worse is we never were contacted after, we found out through my brother’s review that they won’t take the responsibility. It’s extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. I have visited this location 3 times in recent months as a club member and had a bad experience each time. The 1st time they were evidently not operating the car wash but had no signage up to indicate this and they were turning away customers at the entrance. The 2nd time they proceeded to stop the car wash and repeatedly knock on my car very loudly and assertively pointing down in an attempt to ask me to roll down my car window. I’ve been a Tidal Wave member since its established date of service. Everyone there is so dedicated and hard working, even on the hottest of days! Dylan is extremely polite and ALWAYS greets me with a smile and wave! Customer service and care makes my decision to remain loyal TW easy!
They got females out here jump starting generators to give you a pre-power wash before your car wash in the summer to give us that extra and Dylan giving five star customer service in the 🍁🍂 Fall
