Back to visit Oz and pop by after _years, after visiting the market & beach. Some revamp, including adding of some game machines and the claw catchers. Able to "reactivate" our cards at the counter and topup A$100 to receive A$50 extra credit & a small alien plushie. Played the small claw machines right in front of the cashier counter. Encountered some issue where credit was deducted, but the game did not load. No problem in getting the credit back as the staff advised slow/ low wifi signal? We had an awesome time at Timezone Surfers Paradise! The place is super spacious with such a huge variety of games for all ages, there’s honestly something for everyone. We always love coming here whenever we’re in the neighbourhood because the atmosphere is great and they always have awesome deals too (stopped by twice) The staff are friendly, everything is well set out, and it’s just a really fun place to spend a few hours. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great time!

I am re-writing my review as previously I gave 4 stars. I found the place quite large and it had a heap of machines, but many of them actually didn't even work, and when I asked the staff member just said wait because they're connecting to the internet, they never connected but they took your money still on multiple occasions. We ate lunch inside Timezone and that was alright, very expensive for the amount of food you get though. I prefer th Coolangatta Timezone.

As fun as this place is with how big it is and all the games to play, I can’t express how disappointed I am about the machines themselves. I came two days in a row, the first day the basketball machine took my money twice ($5) and wouldn’t let me play. That same day it the twister game took my money which was a further $10 and the game wouldnt play then too.
