I’m really disappointed with the service at Timpson (Key Cutting) in The Mercury Mall, Romford. I went in for what should have been a simple job — making three copies of my house key — and ended up having to return three separate times because the keys still weren’t cut properly. Even after all the trips back and forth, the copies still don’t work as they should. It was a frustrating and time-wasting experience for something that should have been straightforward. I took a pair of court shoes that were quite expensive. Their shape is more of a narrow toe / pointed. I was told on the day I visited "sorry I can't sole the toe part of the shoe because it's too pointed, we don't repair these types of shoes." I couldn't believe what was hearing. What happened to all the shoe repairers when all shoes had pointed toes. The man said the best he could do was place a small metal piece to try and prevent the toe area being worn away any further. Do not go there, asked to take links off a watch came back he said he can’t do it leaving scratches on my 5 grand watch and whilst trying to charge 20 pounds for a couple links, the guy was sarcastic and rude when I tried to ask questions, don’t go unless you want to feel awkward and get charged too much, there’s plenty of places to go in Romford do not go here.
Miserable grey haired jokeman works there. Very rude for no reason to everyone. Work on your customer service skills 🔔🔚
I want to thank to the guy who is working with the shoes. Was a true gentleman! He first told me to come on Sunday after my shoes but he didn’t had time and said to comeback in another day. He didn’t wanted to charge me as he couldn’t resolve totally the job, but he gave me an advice where to go. I found it very professional and very polite.
