I think the timpson staff in waitrose rushden have a discusting attitude. I went in tonight with a watch to change the battery i have taken previously to asda rushden and they were brilliant. The women on the desk said I can't open the back she looked like she really could not be bothered as it was 4.45 .probably going home soon I said to her so you can't do it then she said No sorry I can't . I will now have to travel all the way to Asda from Raunds to get my watch battery changed now. So I won't be going back to Timpson... read more
Unfortunate experience at this location today. Took in 3 watches for new batteries. Upon returning (5 hours later) to collect them, was told that they were only able to replace 1 of the 3... Upon returning home I have realised that the front face of the watch that was "fixed" has been completely scratched up. Went in couple of weeks ago to the Timpsons in Waitrose for the first time. The woman who was behind the counter clearly looked at me and did not want to serve me. She gave me this look of disgust, did not acknowledge me. I had a couple of queries and she did not show an interest in helping me. She only gave me short and abrupt answers. I was made to feel like I shouldn't be there. However for the customer behind me she was extremely warm and welcoming and treated him completely different to how she treated me. Excellent experience having a key cut. The lady Claire was very helpful and pleasant . Definitely recommend. They do all sorts not just keys.
I rushed in on what is a very busy day ie Xmas Eve, but Haydon was so polite, chirpy and helpful it made my day amidst all the madness of the main shop, as lovely as the Waitrose experience is! He went out of hos way to help me and resolved my watch battery issue very promptly. He is a credit to Timpson. Thanks Maggie
