Want to say a huge thank you to Leon at Timpsons, Sainsburys, Weston super Mare. Great service and as one of my boots only needed glueing, it was done at no cost to me. Went in this morning to get 2 small plaques to stick on 2 football trophies. Having been recommended to use them. I asked for some engraving on the plaques. Man in the shop was helpful, trophies slightly different sizes for the plaque so one is slightly over hanging the trophy (not ideal). I was expecting it to cost about £10. (So I didn't ask for cost ..) Shop assistant said come back in about 10mins. I returned 10 minutes later as he was finishing off. Handed me the plaques for me to stick on myself. The second hand on my watch had come loose. It's an old watch so wasn't sure what to expect in terms of repair or price. The repair was done quickly and the price was more than reasonable. Top quality service, would recommend.
I went in today to have an eyelet repair to my riding boots. The young man was polite, checked if he had a suitable rivet to re-attach the eyelet - which he did, told me it would be 15 minutes and just £7.50. I asked if I could wait as in checking the fit of the rivet on the boot the job it was almost done - it just needed hammering. Within less than 5 minutes I had been in, problem sorted, and was on my way completely satisfied with the swift, efficient service I had received. Brilliant thank-you.
I just wanted to say how helpful Timpson's colleague was. I picked up my shoes at 5.50pm. The heels and soles look really secure and he had made sure the shoes looked great. Above and beyond what I expected. I didn't note his name but a credit to Timpsons.
