I was served today by a lovely young man at the Kidsgrove branch, who was still in his training phase but if he hadn't told me, I would never have known. He re- heeled my boots perfectly. An extremely polite and very professional assistant. I highly recommend this service, and this young man.

Absolutely unbelievable and embarrassing service received at this store today, 16th February 2026 at 16:20. The employee was serving a customer in front of me and, once he finished, he simply said, “I’m on my break now, I’ll be back in 15 minutes” 😳 — despite me waiting to be served. Completely unacceptable customer service. I was left standing there with no assistance and no apology. This experience sums up how poor the service at Timpson Kidsgrove (Tesco) is. I had keys cut at the Trent Vale branch none of these fitted when I returned home so I attended my local Kidsgrove branch & explained the situation. I was abruptly told that staff were busy & I would have to ‘sort it out’ at another branch which was concerning. After a brief debate I travelled to the Asda branch in Tunstall where the staff member cut new keys with no fuss & in a polite manner….if you need keys cut the Tunstall branch is the place….avoid the other two!!

Visited Timpson Kidsgrove today to get some keys cut, was served by Lee who was very polite and professional. Excellent service.

I have had excellent service from James for years but on my last visit I found Louis in charge who was very helpful and professional.
