Any chance of either an easier to open door on this branch, or maybe just more aware staff? I couldn't open the door with one hand, so I leaned my crutch against the window making a tapping noise. That got the attention of the wee fella behind the counter, who helpfully rolled his eyes as he watched me struggle. Asking if he was open through the small gap I'd managed to open, he tutted & said "depends what for". Luckily I didn't need a better attitude as this branch is all out
Under no circumstances use Timpsons battery for life service. The batteries don't last and you're made to feel like a shoplifter if you ask for a replacement. I will never use another Timpsons for anything after my experience here. Interestingly the batteries I got from Tesco are just fine and my "must be faulty, not their fault" Swatch is perfectly fine now Ive stopped using their batteries!! I wouldn't even give them a star
Had the same key cut here twice, it still doesn’t fit in the lock. Didn’t even want to use the shop but the machines at b&q and tesco kingsway were out of order.
Obnoxious,rude and unhelpful staff member. I went in with my wee girl to get a battery for her new watch from Santa. I knew the battery I needed because I had already opened the watch and identified it. The guy behind the counter had some kind of hissy fit because I missed out a single letter while specifying the battery, despite me telling him the correct number... there could only be one possible option. Chap that helped me was very friendly. Went to get a set of keys cut. In and out within 2 minutes. Friendly customer service and quick job.
