IF YOU NEED A REPLACEMENT CAR KEY FOB, TRY TIMPSONS FIRST. YOU COULD SAVE A FORTUNE: As you'll see here: Wow just wow. Monday 1st Sep 25 my life fell apart. The key fob to my VW completely broke the key snapped out of the fob. So I'm pretty good with Google. I went looking to replace the key. I contacted locksmiths online and in various locations across the North East closer to Sunderland. The quotes I got after explaining what had happened... Well I've used this business for the final time. Reason? Absolutely disgusting customer service. The guy behind the counter Lee had no customer service skills whatsoever. I paid £20 for a battery for a key fob for my van which was bad enough. Lee the very rude shop assistant tested the key on the tester in the shop and it worked ok. He then told me there is a one year guarantee and if it did not work at the van I could return it. So I went to the van and tried it and it would not work. Expensive for key cutting.I usually pay half the price for keys but was stuck..... Guy didn't seem very happy in his work either. You learn I suppose.!
