I got 3 keys cut at a Timpson machine inside Morrisons. Got home to find they didn't work. I went into a Timpson store and the lovely bloke cut me another 3 keys without any hesitation.
The service was top class in all respects. I took a trophy plaque in to be engraved and although it was an awkward size it was no problem .The two guys in the shop were a credit to the company. They seemed to have a pride in what they do. I will certainly be recommending them .
Just went to get a link taken out of my watch. Charging me double what I paid in another timpsons yesterday. I even showed my receipt. Didn't mention if the higher price was due to insurance. Just being pretty rude. But to be honest didn't look like a trustworthy person behind the counter. Wont be going back there again!
CONSOLE REPAIR TRIAL! Took my Xbox console to the manager (Managers only permitted to do console servicing) who's name is James, sound guy. I asked him how much for my console to be cleaned internally as it was very dusty from previous owner, I got a straight to the point price and was told to bring it in which I did and he said it would be done by the end of the day so I can pick it up the morning after. Left my boots to be resoled (£28!) but guy said he'd fix a scuff on the toe too so fair enough. Came back a week later (different guy). Handed me a carrier bag with my boots in and they hadn't even been done! Had to wait for another hour and a half. Said he couldn't fix the scuff. More likely couldn't be bothered. All I got was a 'Sorry about that.' Appalling service and attitude. Will never use Timpson again
