I wasn't hopeful that my favourite Rieker sandals could be repaired after the toe stitching wore out on the right sandal. Chap in Timpson's said he could fix it, showed me where a crack in the sole meant he'd have to improvise a bit and that he'd have it done by the next day. Back the next day: great repair, another couple of summers out of my sandals for just £12 and friendly customer service. Hard to beat!

Took a pair of new mens ankle boots with a loop on the heels to help you pull them on, unfortunately the hoops were too small to get my finger through, he immeediately suggested two key rings that clip on to the hoops, they worked perfectly and cost me the grand total of £1-70, a brilliant service, well done.

Visited Timpson's today and received exceptional service from Gareth. Helped me mend a zipper there and then. He was very friendly and helpful. Personal service provided like it was a family run business. Made effort to stop and talk to me. Huge thanks for rescueing my favourite pair of jeans Gareth!

I've just been to 4 or 5 shops that cut keys the key I need ranged from £3.50.to £10 your shops charge £10 but I think it is worth the extra price because the staff are very professional and helpful not like the cheaper shops where the service is not good
