I called in yesterday as one of my trainers needed a repair. The man behind the counter (who was clearly more interested in his phone), told me he didn't repair trainers. I hadn't even had chance to take it out of my bag. He was rude, disinterested and barely gave eye contact - presumably because he would have to look away from his phone. I then decided to phone Timpsons next to ASDA and had the complete opposite experience, and have left a separate review for John to reflect this. Would give zero stars if possible. Arrived at ten to five to ask for a battery replacement for my watch. Was told there wasn’t enough time to do this simple procedure as it would take the gentleman a good half hour to complete as he ‘didn’t want to rush it’. Popped in this morning for some additional keys, and a new watch battery and strap. Friendly service, reasonably priced, and quick. All good, thanks 👍

I was waiting for the gentleman to open up on Saturday morning who was already late opening, as the shutter went up and lightning on i approach the shop a d said good morning only to hear his reply of I'm not open yet give me a minute to set up! As I walked away he was equally rude to the customers who tried to go in the shop telling them he needed to set up. He might try not being late in the first place and work on his customer service.
