Mark was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Managed to make my old Grenson Fred's look as good as new. I noted most of the customers knew Mark on a first name basis, which backs up my impression that he offers a first class service. Will definitely use Timpson again for all my relevent requirements. Bravo!
I went for a replacement remote car key fob, and for those you have to call ahead sure to the many different types. Mark (I think?) was great and explained the options and prices over the phone and we agreed a time for me to go. It was all done in about 20 minutes and although it initially sounded expensive, further research into other suppliers showed that it was pretty good value for money. Happy recommend.
Came into shop 31/10/2025 with what I thought was a broken car key Fob. Before heading to Ford to be ripped off hundreds to get a replacement. Wanted to see if Timpson could fix it for me first. Within minutes the staff fixed my key and all was sorted. Was such a relief took all my stress away. Very kind staff. Not sure of the 2 men serving that day. Thank you again will definitely be back.
Needed a spare remote car key and was almost resigned to being stung by the main dealer as forums were pointing in that direction due the peculiarity of VAG group car keys after a certain year. Spoke to Mark who was very helpful in his explanation that it might be possible but was on the cusp of not being able to help due to vehicle age although willing to try. Mark is a total star. I have used this branch for repairing shoes, boots, bags and watches, for replacing batteries, for cutting keys and engraving dog tags and even for cleaning and preserving a family wedding dress. Mark will always try and help, even if the job is a little bit out of the ordinary - eg: shortening a strap on a bag. He's a thoroughly nice guy who clearly takes pride in his job and that shows in the standard of work he produces.
