Poor service. As I walked up at 240pm on Sunday.. Considering Sainsburys closes at 4pm.. The elderly looking guy. Just pointed at a small cardboard clock. Saying 'I'm back at 3pm'. Was not eating or anything just sitting there. Why not have break where Sainsburys have a dedicated canteen and seperate area. Rather than sit there looking miserable and pointing at card. Dropped a pair of boots off Tuesday 23/12/25 for reheeling, hoping for the hour service. Was asked to come back Saturday 27/12/25 as the man didnt know how to build the heel up first (I understood the delay as it was Christmas Thursday) and accepted, after being reassured that they would be ready Saturday morning, as we arent local and just visiting for Christmas we would be leaving London early Saturday afternoon. I visited your new Timpson shop at Sainsbury's, Aylesbury after the Tesco one told me they could not fix my shoes as they didnt have the tools. I decided to try this new store and so glad I did. I was greeted by a lovely and chirpy store manager, I think his name is Clint. He is so positive and has a can do attitude. In June my wife's watch was given in to have the battery replaced but the colleague broke the watch. They said they would send it to their workshop to be repaired but it's now been 4 months and we still do not have the watch and they keep saying a later date when I ask for an update with no apology. It's starting to feel like they will never give the watch back.
Absolutely shocking experience with Timpson’s. I took my watch in for a simple repair, and not only did they damage it, but they also took it away for over 3 months and still haven’t actually repaired it. Every time I tried to get an update, the communication was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. There’s been no apology, no compensation, and no refund - just endless excuses and poor service.
