The prices felt a bit on the high side for what you get, which is the main reason I would not rate it five stars. However, the service made up for it. The guy at the till was polite and approachable, and everything was handled quickly without any delay. Good service goes a long way, and it was noticeable here. I would return, but ideally with slightly better pricing it could be even better.
I went to Timpson in Church Langley to get two copies of my car key cut. These keys are only for the door locks, so they didn’t need any programming. I was told the two keys would cost £45 and would be ready in 30 minutes. When I returned after 30 minutes, they started cutting the keys, but after three attempts they still couldn’t get them to work. I came in today to get a refund because once again the keys don’t work, and the incompetence of the staff was on full display. The person I believe to be the manager was rude and, frankly, useless. The new staff member was clearly left with no training, struggling to help customers without any idea of what to do, while the bald staff member walked around barking orders as if he owned the place. Great service with Stuart highly recommend him he’s a true gentleman
Got a key cut. Didn’t get a receipt. Key didn’t fit the lock. Went back and was given a new key even though I didn’t have a receipt (very kind). Got home… didn’t fit the lock. Might as well have given me a chunk of cheese to unlock my door with. The second star is because the bloke at the counter kindly did a fresh key for me (even though it didn’t work).
