I wanted to leave this review sooner, but better late than never — especially when the service deserves recognition. I visited Timpson after having an issue with my car key. The casing was replaced and the batteries were changed, however after receiving the key I experienced problems unlocking my car. I returned to the store and spoke with Tony, who immediately reassured me that he would resolve the issue. I went in today to just get some simple repair work done to the insoles of my shoes and spoke to Farhan, he was sound and said come back in 30 mins for my shoes. I went back in as he said and he didn’t charge me a penny for it - said it was just a simple job so no need. Very much unexpected but a very kind and generous gesture which frankly I really appreciate!
I went to Timpsons located by Yiewsley Tesco. I was greeted well and the staff knew precisely what I needed. John & Shane took great care of me. They were very professional, practical and overall sorted my issue in no time at all. Highly recommended. Thank you guys ⭐️
The main guy who works there is very arrogant and perhaps needs to be educated on why refunds exist. Added to this, he charged £18 for 6 LR41 batteries, which is an absolute rip off. When I asked for refund, he said - “I don’t understand such people“. Well, I don’t get people like him - disgrace to Tmpson. I’ve been to several Timpson stores before but never had such an experience before!
Guy who replaced my heels did a hash job colouring them to match the shoe. See picture. When I questioned it he got angry and defensive saying there was nothing wrong with it! When asked if he could try again he reluctantly agreed but said he wouldn’t do it again if it looked bad. I took them as they were in case he returned them in even worse condition.
