I wanted to give a huge 'shout out' and thanks to Jim, Manager of Timpsons, Prestwich branch (by Tesco) for a fabulous service. He is such a polite, friendly and professional guy who successfully replaced damaged links in my ceramic watch strap.( I purchased the watch not realising how easily the links can fracture). Jim gave a superb, fast and efficient service and I'm sure that's why there was such a steady stream of customers wanting various repairs . Thanks again.
£30 for 3 house keys, took 3 minutes. Had to return to store after I got home as one didn't work. Fast service, but extortionate cost.
Took my car key to replace the cover yesterday. The guy said, if water goes inside then I'd have to get a new key which will cost £200+, charged me £50 for a 5 minute task. The next day I noticed that he had replaced only half of the shelf, with a smaller cheaper shelf, which didn't match the other original half, and looked different shade of black, also the buttons are not easy to press like I used to with the original. I visited the store in preswitch after various places told me they couldn’t do the engraving that I needed. I was greeted by Jim who took the time to listen to my request. I am Getting married in a couple of weeks and wanted to engrave some personalised perfume bottles for my bridal party. Jim went out of his way to review the bottles and offer some suggestions. Had the battery in my car key replaced. The gentleman at this branch was super friendly and helpful and sorted it in a couple of minutes. Can't recommend enough 😊
