I took two pairs of flat shoes to be heeled. The gentleman asked when I would like them, so I replied ASAP. So I went shopping at Sainsbury's, returned to Timpsons afterwards, and my shoes were ready! Brilliant service, a great job in sorting out the heels, very pleasant, and professional gentleman too 🙂 would definitely recommend, 👍
Horrendous. I popped in on a Thursday an hour before closing and asked about spare car keys. I was told I could order one (for £99 paid then) and collect on the Friday. I asked if I could collect Saturday as I wasn’t available Friday. I was told that was fine as long as I went before 4:30pm. I went down on Saturday at 12:45pm. A different man was at the counter. The reprogrammed my car key fob in about 45 minutes for £50. Much cheaper than getting a new one!
I came in yesterday (12/12) needing a new battery for my car key, the man working was very friendly but when I came back to collect my key he told me it was badly water damaged and was not working. He had tried to fix it but it was bust, I told him thank you and left. I was satisfied with the service but upset I was going to have to buy a new key. I took my Cartier copy in for a new battery to be fitted, - it also had condensation on the face. The last battery fitted here cost £7 not too long ago. He quoted me £19.99!!!,- I queried the cost and he said the price of batteries had shot up. (Wrong answer, I used to sell these and know the market). So I drove to town and visited Arnold and Graham watch specialsist in the Moor Market. He replaced the battery but the watch wouldn't work,...probably due to the condensation.
