Not happy with the service. I had the heal tips done there, swapped plastic tips for rubber ones. The people who have seen my lovely Irregular Choice shoes either laughed or asked where I went to have some oversized rubber pads stapled to the heals. I asked a lady who worked there last Saturday why this was done this way and she said it's more stable. yeah,right. The shoes were "stable" before I made the mistake and went there. I came to Timsons in Castleford today at 8:45am and desperately needed a key cutting. The young man arrived ready for work served me as soon as he saw me waiting. He was very friendly and was able to cut the key for me in a few minutes without any issues. Will definitely continue to use this branch.
Big thanks to Aaron for making me my spare keys, they work perfect he was very knowledgeable in other aspects of his craft too, would be sleeping outside without him *he also gave me a nice deal* 🫡

21.02.2025 I visited the Carlton Lanes Store to pick up a pair of boots I had left for heeling. I was very impressed by Ben, the young man behind the counter. He was very efficient, pleasant and extremely courteous. He asked me to inspect the new heels and I was very pleased with the quality of the work. I shall definitely be returning to the Castleford Store. I would like to commend Ben as a shining example of the values Timpsons pride themselves upon. Thank you very much Ben.
