It took a very polite young man less than a minute to replace the battery in my car key remote. Much appreciated.
I bought "lifetime battery replacement" guarantees for my 3 watches many years ago from Timpson's. The store is part of Sainsburys so is handy for grocery shopping as well....and it's always nice to pop in and get a "free" battery. Staff are invariably pleasant and knowledgeable.
Richard fitted a lifetime battery to a commemorative Swiss watch. While he did it he told me a lot about watches and timpsons. A very informative experience
Sealed & soldered watch battery. Dealer wanted £300+. Richard at Darlington did it for £32. What a man, what a company.
Went to the store 10 minutes before closing time on a Sunday not expecting much, however, Sam the man delivered. Asked for 2 watches links sorting and a new battery for one of the watches and the job was completed to a very high standard and very quickly. Sam is an absolute legend and a credit to Timpsons. Be like Sam. He is a boyo.
