I bought "lifetime battery replacement" guarantees for my 3 watches many years ago from Timpson's. The store is part of Sainsburys so is handy for grocery shopping as well....and it's always nice to pop in and get a "free" battery. Staff are invariably pleasant and knowledgeable.
I ordered a new car remote for my car and was told that it had to be made and should take at least a fortnight. Almost 3 months later and I still haven’t heard anything. I’m just so glad I didn’t pay any money, because if I did, I’d have wasted every single penny of it, consider considering a new remote would cost between £150 and £180. I’ll try the dealer instead, because at least then I know they are reliable
