First time customer, I brought in two pairs of ‘Northamptons finest’ shoes for thin rubber soles plus heels on one. I liked the choice of solutions offered but most important I loved the result! Beautifully finished, the original and new had been blended perfectly and looks great. A value added result, I’ll be back!

Very disappointing service…took a trophy in for engraving, charged 3 x more than other Timpsons used in the past for engraving the same trophy and ended up with terrible service…Told to collect the trophy 1 week later…The trophy was engraved with a letter missing despite the fact I wrote the name down correctly!….Was told I would need to come back the following week for them to rectify this…Went to collect the trophy the following week and still not ready!! Winton because my favourite boots were on their last legs and was helped immediately. It’s actually hard to fix them and explained the process. I would highly recommend! I wanted to add that after receiving my boots, I am more than thrilled with the result. Angelo was a miracle worker!!

I would not even give one star . I went to have a new battery in my watch . I was horrified to see him using a penknife to open it rather than appropriate tools . His tough handling resulted in the watch being scratched. Which he seemed unbothered by . I had to remove it and leave . Possibly cobblers should not undertake this work unless trained .
