Popped into the Timpsons Station way Alyesbury , today expecting your usual in-and-out, transactional sort of thing… but what a pleasant surprise! Lovely experience. Alex was really sweet and got my dress dry cleaned quickly. Even though he had a tough customer in front of me, he had every opportunity to be off but served me with a smile and was very chatty.
Absolutely awful experience with Timpson. I took a pure silk item to be cleaned, and when it was returned, due to the dry cleaning chemicals that are used it was permanently marked - they blamed me for getting it dirty in the first place. When I gave it to them it was not 'stained' - essentially they will also lie to cover themselves. There is no empathy, customer service or any attempt to look after the customer. I took a big black bag full of shirts and knitted items to Timpsons at the Tesco Aylesbury store and was served by Kevin who was standing in and usually works at the Morrisons Timpsons. I usually use a local dry cleaners but they were closed on this Sunday. Being in Sales myself, I know only too well that customer service is everything and people buy from people.
