£60 odd quid quoted to change a battery on Tag watch or £90 odd quid for a 'lifetime guarantee' battery. Was told once opened they couldn't guarantee that it would be waterproof @ 200m (not that ive ever been or plan to go 200m in water. Ridiculous price either way. Went to the Jewlery workshop 20p yards away battery supplied and changed for a tenner.

Having chatted with a 90 year old lady, in Costa Coffee, who was having a problem with her late Husbands Carriage Clock. She had put in a new battery, then couldn't set the time. I offered to help and got it to the correct time, then put the back on. I then noticed the glass cover for the dial, was missing a tiny screw missing and was sliding down preventing the hands moving properly.
