i took my work trainers that were in an absolutely disgusting condition here to be cleaned. the lovely guy who served me (i didn’t catch his name but he was a nice older gentleman) managed to get them looking brand new and he didn’t want to charge me at all. i paid because i would’ve felt bad not doing so but i’m so positively surprised by the customer service the price i paid was only £20 too, which is amazing compared to the £40 i’ve paid in the past. so happy with everything and i will be returning!
I walked in Timpsons today to get my watch clasp fixed. Andy did a fabulous job in fixing the clasp. Thank you Andy for making my day and for saving me a lot of money ☺️
Just visited to have some leather heel pads on my shoes. Quoted £27.95 which is good, to be told by the young lady working there. Oh rubber be better, because she can't do the leather ones, doesn't know how to, as she's just inherited the shop. This is despite leather heeled shoes displayed above the machine, too which she informed me, yeh they came with the machine, we don't do them. This is the best dry cleaning/laundry service in Birmingham City Centre. I have been attending Timpsons in Edgbaston for over 9 years and the customer service is absolutely top class. Mike, who covers the store on weekends, is a true gentleman and always ensures that my dry cleaning and laundry is turned around quickly and that it is done to the highest possible standard. I took my almost new boots (costing £125) to Timpson to have the bottoms of the heels replaced. Unfortunately, they were damaged during the repair. Cuts were made in the heels and then covered with some black substance to hide the damage. After contacting customer service, I was asked to send pictures — but no refund was offered straight away.
