I always go to this branch specifically for Tony. He is always so helpful and polite, and straight to the point. I've had several keys cut here that all worked, and even had some shoes repaired here recently, and they were absolutely brilliantly repaired, like new! And absolutely excellent customer service! 10/10, highly recommend!
Timpsons in Harpenden are so much better than my local Timpsons. I have never had to return keys that are cut there, whereas EVERY key at my local shop needs to be refunded! The guy in Harpenden shop is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My local shop has guys that use the wrong type of key to cut from, they have been seen rolling up their cigarettes behind the desk, regularly need to phone other stores to get advice and (according to Harpenden store) must need their machines re-calibrating because of the poor quality cuts... read more
Excellent customer service. No charge for fitting battery to watch which turned out to be broken. Thank you! Update: I love this place. They are wizards at mending shoes and suggesting stuff. Last shoe repair came back polished all over and immaculate. Thank you!
High prices for poor attitude. I don’t know who writes here good reviews. But this shop is not worth it.
Our local paper did a piece on the new store in St Albans because the ceo (free advertising?) was concerned it was taking no money. (Since when have shoe repairs/key cutters had a reputation for watch repairs??) ..Well, I think I can tell him why!
