Came in to enquire about a hiking boot repair. The gentleman had a look and explained the anatomy of the shoe and was very honest in explaining how a repair would be difficult and expensive. He explained how sole/heel replacement was usually done and showed me some pieces he was currently working on. We talked a bit about brands and the style that would suit me best. I had a couple of keys that were cut years ago, neither of them had ever worked and on closer inspection looked slightly bent. I went into store to explain they had never worked or been used and was after some advice if it was the type of metal and do you have anything more sturdy as they looked bent. I was met with scrunity and disbelief rather than advice and was made to feel like I was a problem. I didn't even get responses to some of my questions and was met with silence. I took two pairs of boots to be repaired by Timpsons and they did a super job. One pair had damaged heels and the inner soles were worn away. All repairs were made to a very good standard and the staff were friendly and professional!

I took my watch in for a new battery which had to be sent away. I needed it back fairly quickly and I was assured it would be. Ashley in the shop kept me updated and kept a check on its progress. He called me as soon as it was back in store to collect. Very helpful and very efficient member of staff. A credit to Timpsons. Well done Ashley.
